JENNIFER CARROLL FOY
(VIRGINIA STATE SENATE, DISTRICT 33)
Jennifer Denise Carroll Foy is an American lawyer and progressive leader. She previously served as a public defender. Carroll Foy was elected to represent Virginia's 2nd House of Delegates district in 2017, which covers parts of Prince William County and Stafford County in Northern Virginia. In December 2020, she resigned from the House of Delegates to focus on her campaign for Governor of Virginia in 2021. She is currently running for State Senate in Virginia's 33rd Senate district to fight for our working families. Jennifer is endorsed by dozens of local leaders and organizations including Working Families Party, IBEW Local 26, Prince William Education Association, CASA in Action, Clean Virginia, and #VOTEPROCHOICE.

Progressive Heidi Drauschak is a small business owner, non-profit leader, and new mom who has dedicated her career to putting power back into the hands of regular people by fighting corruption in government. In every capacity of her life, Heidi has always been someone who takes action – moving quickly and boldly to get the job done. As a young Black woman, mother and higher-ed professional, Lashrecse experienced the same struggles as many across the district. She grew up experiencing and overcoming hardship firsthand and has seen personally how gun violence affects our communities. She knows how destructive failing schools can be on educators and especially our children. In the House of Delegates, Lashrecse fought to provide more funding for our schools, more economic opportunities for our communities, and pushed to make our criminal justice system fairer. Lashrecse is endorsed by countless leaders, elected officials, and organizations including EMILY's List, UNITE HERE, Planned Parenthood VA, and the entire Democratic women’s caucus in the Senate.

Parisa was first elected to a four-year term in November 2019. She came to the office of Commonwealth’s Attorney with a twenty-year record of criminal justice reform as an innocence protection attorney, a public defender, and a law professor. As The Commonwealth's Attorney, Parisa’s core philosophy is that safety and justice are not opposite but complementary values and that a prosecutor's primary responsibility is to treat crime as crime and people as people.

Steve Descano is the current Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney and ran successfully in 2019 on a progressive criminal justice reform platform. He is a former federal prosecutor, husband, father, and proud Democrat. Steve’s vision for Fairfax County is based on the knowledge that safety and justice go hand in hand. Not only has his smart, data-driven reforms made Fairfax’s justice system more fair and equal than ever before, Fairfax County is also the safest jurisdiction of its size in the entire country. Since taking office in 2020, Steve has implemented new diversion programs, created a data program aimed at rooting out racial and economic disparities, and restructured the office to a victim-centric prosecution model.
