Tell the Senate: End US Support for the war in Yemen

The Saudi-led war in Yemen has killed an estimated 377,000 people and exposed tens millions of Yemenis to horrific famine. The United States has actively perpetuated this unconscionable war for the past seven years — but Congress has an opportunity to change that, right now.

This month, the Senate will finally vote on ending US support for the war in Yemen. We demand Congress change course on this humanitarian disaster.

So long as the US supports Saudi Arabia with billions of dollars in weaponry and military contracts, we are actively supporting a repressive regime that imprisons and murders dissidents, that is helping Russia fund its war in Ukraine, and that is perpetrating one the world’s worst humanitarian disasters.

President Biden has promised to hold Saudi Arabia accountable for cutting oil production, a clear act of aggression against the US and alliance with Russia, but we’ve yet to see any action. Congress has the opportunity to pull US support for Saudi war crimes, but our senators must act now.

Sign and send the petition here to your senator(s): We urge you to cosponsor the War Powers Resolution to end US support for the war in Yemen!
